- This little Two Dots game which is compelling enough and has a built-in delay before you can get new lives. You can always buy more (brilliant) bug I’m not that addicted and it keeps me from playing it endlessly.
- The 15 Walking Tours book I bought today and my walking tour down lower Broadway.
- The absolutely stunning interior of The Cunard Building.
- The brass night deposit box I came across at the East River Savings Bank Building (aka, Century 21). There was a place to deposit a nickel (did you have to pay to make an after-hours deposit?) and a little door marked “Take Receipt” that still opens, though nothing is inside.
- The fence at Bowling Green, with the stubs where the crowns were broken off 200+ years ago when the King George statue was torn down after Washington read the Declaration of Indepenence to the crowd.
Many thanks,
Me
