Day Seventy-four

  1. I will make $500 for barely a day’s work today.  Some people make that in an hour or a matter of minutes, but the vast majority of the world (some 80%) won’t make it in a month.  I am rich.
  2. I didn’t throw up today.
  3. The reflection of those Brooklyn soccer lights in the East River.
  4. Yoga this afternoon, feeling so good after a long sabbatical.
  5. Sean is going to stay with Holly in October while I go to Atlanta.  It’s a 10-day trip, longest I’ve been there in decades, and knowing someone will be here with Holly makes me feel so much better about it.
  6. I bought a full basket of groceries tonight and have plenty to eat for days.
  7. My teeth are brushed.
  8. I have Prozac for depression, Lamictal for epilepsy, and Advil for plantar fasciitis.  Access to medicines that did not exist 50 years ago.  I probably would have just killed myself.
  9. My sheets are clean.
  10. I am clean.  Can there ever be enough gratitude for cleanliness?

Many thanks,

Me
