2. The “American Steak Dinner” I had at Longhorn Steakhouse while watching the Astros/Royals.  Caesar salad, 6 oz sirloin, broccoli, and a baked potato:  $12.95

4. I wasn’t depressed for a majority of the day today.  The thing with Sarah last week really knocked me on my heels.  Not so much because of her – though an unrequited crush is no one’s favorite – but because of my own catastrophizing; I let a simple declined kiss become a judgement on my value as a human being and, yes, that will lead to some depression.  For the most part today I didn’t have it.
5. Morning meditation on the porch with the background humming of insects and birds and rustling wind.  It was so complex, truly like a symphony.
