Day Forty-six

  1. Somehow, through minimal effort of my own, enough money continues to trickle in for me to pay my rent and have food and other basics.  Not much else, but it makes me feel taken care of anyway.
  2. The soft fur on Holly’s belly.
  3. I swept the floor and it feels good on my bare feet.
  4. My frustration over my abortive attempt at writing an article today did not kill me.  My motives were relatively pure, though not so pure as my motives here.  These little notes are intended as offerings and not to bring attention back to their writer.
  5. In the process of writing the article I learned a good bit about genetics and the periodic table.  It was (is?) to be a list of the top 10 most important lists, of which the human genome and periodic table of elements are two.  Also the alphabet, Arabic numerals, and a few others.  I got hung up trying to fill up the entries with 150+ words, the minimum requested by the site I was targeting.  Anyway, as noted above my frustration did not kill me and I learned a lot.  And with your help I will try again tomorrow.

Many thanks,

Me
