1. Cherry. It’s her 70th birthday today.
2. Her party, held at the Marietta Country Club, where I had my very favorite foods:
3. A specific meal: forex chicken, ham, fried okra, collard greens (though I prefer turnip greens).
4. Dessert(s) of German chocolate cake and red velvet cake – two all-time favorites.
5. The health, happiness and well-being of my nieces and nephews; delightful kids, all.
