Day 76

  1. A Chipotle burrito bowl with white rice (cilantro), pinto beans, peppers & onions, sour cream, cheese, corn and lettuce; with a side of chips; and a diet Dr. Pepper. I could/should have listed all those things separately, but it seems lazy. And yet.
  2. I really do love Diet Dr. Pepper.
  3. And tortilla chips.
  4. And has it ever occurred to me to express gratitude for corn? Because I love corn in all its forms: creamed; on the cob; popped; ground up and fried into tortillas; or as individual kernels, how it’s served in this burrito bowl.
  5. And, hell, how about Chipotle itself and the notion that I can pick this up and enjoy it so quickly and easily and inexpensively. From what I can tell they treat their workers well and use locally sourced organic ingredients, so they seem socially responsible, too. Though I might just be naive.
