- It’s Dee’s 88th birthday today.
- Google Home. I might have already said this, but it’s cool and I enjoy playing with it. It boggles my mind and is really quite miraculous to ask, “Hey Google, where was Fidel Castro born?” and get an answer in seconds. How much is going on there. How many little miracles inside that one big one. Hearing my voice; knowing what the sounds mean; knowing who Fidel Castro was; and what I meant by “born.” Simply amazing.
- This big comfy MoMA sweatshirt. It’s an immediate favorite. A grey Champion with stitched-on letters (“MoMA”) like a typical university sweatshirt.
- Not the government shutdown, per se, but living in interesting times when the government gets shutdown. Though it’s a guilty pleasure, politics these days.
- Right now, I am experiencing absolutely no physical discomfort whatsoever.
