Day One Hundred Sixty-four

  1. When I can’t get back to sleep for worrying about being almost 50 and rattling off in my head all the things I don’t have and haven’t accomplished, I can take a moment to write a gratitude list; it’s a tool that’s always available to me.
  2. Birdsong at dawn in Atlanta.
  3. Dreaming.  I love to dream.
  4. Dad’s okay so far.  He has Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus and had a spinal tap yesterday.  I’m going to sit with him in the hospital today.
  5. Nancy and I had our first near-breakup fight the other night, but we’re still together and stronger for it.

Many thanks,

Me
