- The West Paces Ferry branch of the Atlanta Public Library, which is now a Starbucks where Nancy and I having coffee.
- Even more so, the Briarcliff branch, the location of which we passed yesterday. It’s a park now. I can still see the 000 section where the Occult and Unexplained section was.
- The warm knocking sound of radiators heating up.
- And the delicious warmth of a sweatshirt that’s been left on a radiator for the duration of a shower.
- And, as ever always, baths. Mom mentioned last night that she doesn’t take baths anymore because she has trouble getting out of the tub. I imagine that and shudder. Hit baths are truly one of the greatest joys of my life.
Many thanks,
Me
p.s. Wender Roberts, across the parking lot, where I would head after the library to buy Mad Magazine and chewing gum.
