- The two-thirds of a banana I just ate. I wasteful and hurtful towards the feelings of the third that was wasted, but grateful for the work of the growers and shippers and vendor who brought me that two-thirds. As well as to the banana itself.
- The smile is got from this skinny little kid sitting alone at a table outside a pizzeria – his parents apparently inside – picking forlornly and with disappointment at a pepperoni.
- The time Charlie gave me. I saw him today.
- I do not live in a nursing home on the dementia ward. The smell, the moaning and, one case screaming, and in another case catatonia; it’s just so painful and I’m so grateful to leave.
- Nancy and I had a $245 dinner at Capital Grill tonight.
Many thanks,
Me
