- My visit with Amy today. I only see her once a month now.
- What a ridiculous miracle it is that I’m laying in bed doing this on my phone. There are so many miracles bound up in it, I don’t know where to start: electricity, wifi, the Internet itself. The glass in the multitouch iPhone screen; the microscopic transistors; on and on.
- The QWERTY keyboard layout; such a ubiquitous part of my daily life that it’s invisible; but I take a certain comfort in it.
- Holly pooped on the bed while I was at Nancy’s last night. I’m not happy she pooped on the bed, especially, but I’m grateful that she misses me when I’m not here.
- My glasses. In another era I would be effectively blind; at least as far as reading goes. But then in another era I’d probably already be dead anyway.
Many thanks,
Me
