1. Baseball
2. John Sterling. He’s silly, but he’s our silly and his voice is a pleasure to me.
3. The satisfaction of chipping those marble titles off the fireplace. Aside from it looking better – even the closed thinset looks better – there’s the satisfaction of a piece falling off.
4. Stewart’s hot dogs and root beer in a frosty mug.
5. Ceiling fans – especially the one in our bed room. And the one in my childhood bedroom at Mom’s.
