1. Lounging in the patio after dinner, enjoying the evening breeze with Nancy’s head on my lap.
2. I’m humbled to have been so blessed to have a beach house. A house on the bay. To have water outside my door. How did I get this? Why?
3. Hershey’s chocolate bar: one little rectangle at a time.
4. The swans – though they an invasive species and not helpful to the local environment, they are pretty and I like their calls to each other.
5. A pleasant train ride down. Leaving at 10:41 on Friday morning avoided the Thursday night rush, as well as the afternoon rush of people with half-day summer Fridays.
