Day 125

  1. Glacier National Park and all that’s in it.
  2. Yesterday, we arrived at Little Bighorn to go in and a guy and his family pulled up just behind us and we talking about the shucks of barely missing it and Nance mentioned we were in the trip for our 50th and it turns out his birthday is exactly the same as mine. Same actual day: July 3, 1968. Duane, in Baltimore. We were going nuts over the coincidence of it and his wife called out, “They’re twins!” Such a great moment and I’ll never forget it.
  3. We saw a bear with her cub today.
  4. The turquoise green water of the Flathead River and the various lakes we saw today. I’ve never water so clear and clean.
  5. The speeding ticket I got in Moorecroft Wyoming: it had reminded me to be conscious of my driving.

Many thanks,

Me
