1. We’re staying at a cabin in the mountains with a wood-burning stove and Nancy is dozing with her head in my lap.
2. To have the money and freedom to take a vacation like this: how can ever express that gratitude? So few people have this.
3. That massive field of yellow flowers today. Rapeseed perhaps?
4. Safe passage from Glacier to Big Sky. My own careful driving helped, but so much is beyond my control.
5. We came across Manhattan, MT today. Dad said, “You went a long way just to get back where U started.”
