- Yesterday was Valentine’s Day and Nancy gave me this card. She wrote on the inside, “I would follow you anywhere.”
- I am secure in my career for now. Many people are having to complete reinvent themselves at middle age, as technology makes their fields irrelevant. But I seem well placed. Again: for now.
- I have shoes. Not just one pair, either.
- I do not suffer any sort of abuse.
- You have blessed me with excellent health.
