1. There’s so much pain in the world, so much terror and such terrible thing gaping right now at this very moment, but I’m warm and safe in bed.
2. I had a splinter in my thumb all day and when I finally got it out with an ice cube and tweezers, it felt nearly as good as an orgasm.
3. The humidifier. What an amazing invention.
4. And the white noise machine. Again, who would would even think of such a thing.
5. Giggling with Nancy that we need so many devices to sleep comfortably.
