- 2016 ends tonight. Given the disaster that was our election cycle I’m happy to see it go.
- However, in the more important sense of my personal life, this has been one of the best years of my life: I’ve never made more money; relationships with all my family are strong; my health and the health of my loved ones is good; and I continued to fall more and more deeply in life be with Nancy. What else is there, really?
- I have enough money that I can send old equipment (video cameras, SLR camera, iPad, Apple TV, wireless router, hard drives) to Thomas and still have plenty for myself. Plenty.
- The word “plenty”itself. Not in its casual sense, but in its deeper one. It should almost be capitalized: I have Plenty.
- And my ability to have gratitude itself. As the saying goes, if you have gratitude you always have enough.
Many thanks,
Me
P.S. Truly, really: many thanks for one of the best years of my life.
