Day 28

  1. 2016 ends tonight.  Given the disaster that was our election cycle I’m happy to see it go.
  2. However, in the more important sense of my personal life, this has been one of the best years of my life:  I’ve never made more money; relationships with all my family are strong; my health and the health of my loved ones is good; and I continued to fall more and more deeply in life be with Nancy.  What else is there, really?
  3. I have enough money that I can send old equipment (video cameras, SLR camera, iPad, Apple TV, wireless router, hard drives) to Thomas and still have plenty for myself.  Plenty.
  4. The word “plenty”itself.  Not in its casual sense, but in its deeper one.  It should almost be capitalized:  I have Plenty.
  5. And my ability to have gratitude itself.  As the saying goes, if you have gratitude you always have enough.

Many thanks,

Me

P.S.  Truly, really:  many thanks for one of the best years of my life.
